Hello All,
My Mum has received her ADSL pack from OneTel, including a SpeedTouch 330 USB ADSL modem, followed all the instructions (well, so she said, and my sister was there to help), but is having problems dialling up. She phoned up OneTel and they verified her set up, still had no joy, and told her, "We often have problems with Mac's, you need to phone Apple." Sounds like sloping shoulders myself...
Then she phoned me - unfortunately I'm in Switzerland, so I can't pop round to check it out... I got her to check the connection log from Internet Connect, and she sees the message "CHAP authentication failed". Is this just a userid/password error or is there likely to be a problem with the handshaking itself?
Can anyone please advise?
