Never seen one either, so I suspect not. But then again I never knew WD
made lappy drives either.

WD Scorpion is not a name I've seen about before. I suspect they are trying to jump on the laptop bandwagon.

Western Digital have never curried much favour with me. Their drives have always been 'so-so'. Then again any company that can devote time and R&D fund to making a clear-cover hard disk instead of improving their QA and drive performance maybe doesn't feel it wants to be the top dog?
