Unless you have an ample supply of money, it might be good to check first and find out if the instructor/professor for your class expects you to use one or the other. If you know who the instructor/professor is, you might be able to send him/her an email asking which program will be used (or either?) in the class, and a short explanation that you're considering which way to go. Otherwise, you might get one and end up having to buy the other at the last minute when class starts up.... Just some considerations from a former art graduate (different program).
