After aquavcl01 integration, I would like to propose that we have 4
automated builders (either buildbot or tinderbox doesn't bother me
which each of these are):
- Mac OS X PPC X11
- Mac OS X PPC Aqua
- Mac OS X Intel X11
- Mac OS X Intel Aqua
yes. And then, we can just grab the binary instsets from e.g. Intel/
AQUA and upload it somewhere... Just this, nothing more. No manual
work, no patching, etc.
we have continual stream of new issues but we do not handle them
properly
Of course, should we put out a message of "don't file any new
issues until the next development snapshot"?
No, because they won't read it anyway 8)
But maybe we could create page "Report bug in AQUA!" where the link
to aqua issues is (link to IZ search) with a lost of most reported
issues (sorted by number of duplicates, if possible at all)? OK, I'm
dreaming ;-)
