There is no technical way to provide build of cws aquavcl02 and
localisation12 in one build because they both contain module vcl.
This *is* technicaly possible.
No, you can't run
cvs up -r cws_src680_aquavcl02
and then
cvs up -r cws_src680_localisation12
in vcl, because you'd end up with vcl from localisation12. The other
method (e.g. patching e.g. SRC680_m222 with changes from aquavcl02
and then with changes from localisation12 is a HACK and I do not
count it with technical solution ;-).
My answer is : for official build this is IMHO not possible without
a resync (lot of work for localisation12), and this resync should
be preferably done by Sun Release Engineers.
There will be no official build with two cws mixed in the same build.
Without resync, this is a hack, yes. After a resync for both cws,
this is not adviced, but is correct.
No, it is doable, but not correct. This is where we differ and we
finally get to the point.
Why it is not correct? Because if there is a bug in the final build,
you can't be sure from where the bug comes. And as there is no
reproducible way to produce such build, none can find from where the
bug comes...
