Good to hear. Hope you had a good time...!?

The only question I have is, what is the advantage in the change ? The only disadvantage I can see at the moment is losing the cvs history. However I don't see any advantage.

Agreed, losing cvs history is a disadvantage, but I can nevertheless see at least 2 advantages right away: - The rules to build Obj-C++ using .mm were already present in OOo's build system and we wouldn't have to adjust build settings in every module that uses Obj-C++ - You can already see from the outside that the contents of a .mm file will be Obj-C++ (of course, there's no guarantee to that, but that's true for every suffix)

One way or the other I don't care much anyway, .cxx or .mm "a rose by any other name is still a rose"

You're right with that and I'd never color a red rose blue, but maybe you can give it a second thought. If you still think that we should stick with .cxx at least for the files that are already present then this works perfectly for me.

Kind regards,
Florian
