Hello,

I want to install encfs on my my MacBook.
I've found some hints in this group about encfs on macosx:

     http://tinyurl.com/37djox

Problem: I can't run .configure to install encfs, since it quits with
an error message.

What I've done so far:
1. Downloaded the MacFuse Core Package from http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/
2. Mounted the diskimage and installed 'MacFUSE Core.pkg'
3. reboot
4. downloaded encfs 1.3.2 from
http://freshmeat.net/redir/encfs/45687/url_tgz/encfs-1.3.2-1.tgz
5. uncompressed the file
6. CPPFLAGS="-DHAVE_SSL -D__FreeBSD__=10 -I/usr/local/include"
LDFLAGS="-lcrypto -L/usr/local/lib -lfuse" ./configure --prefix=/usr/
local

Unfortunately I get the following error message:

checking for RLogVersion in -lrlog... no
configure: error: EncFS depends on librlog, by the same author.

But rlog seems to be installed (by default) on my macbook in /usr/bin/
rlog

Any ideas what went wrong or a detailed step-by-step-howto about
installing encfs on os x?

regards from Hamburg / Germany

- Kurt
