I followed all information I could find in order to setup encfs on my
macbook but failed - from my point of view there should be a howto for
dummies with title: Building EncFS for Mac OS X :-)

That sounds like a quick solution and all I need for the moment.

Question 1: Where can I download the EncFS plugin?

I downloaded MacFusion from
http://www.sccs.swarthmore.edu/users/08/mgorbach/MacFusionWeb/
but there was no EncFS.plugin inside the package.

Question 2: Is the plugin working good enought to encrypt vital data
or is something beta or even alpha?

Thanks for your time.
