Can you please try this--with sshfs running multithreaded as normal. Your crash should still occur, but I'd like to see if you get an error message in /var/log/system.log at the time of the crash. (You can either just tail /var/log/system.log or use Console.app to monitor it). The error message we are looking for is: MacFUSE: this can trigger segmentation fault Thanks for testing this.
