FYI, I was able to get ext2fuse to work with minor changes to it and to fuse, although I'd certainly not call it "tested." This was also on intel, not PPC. If I get a chance this evening, I'll try doing a universal build and running it on a G4 with the same filesystem.
Need to dig up whatever they use for ext2/ext3 regression testing and run it on there.
