No, StatusMonitor is not part of MacFUSE. It's part of Mac OS X. Specifically, it's implemented in OSServices.framework, which is a sub- framework of CoreServices.framwork. The Finder links against CoreServices.framework. The error message that you see is coming from the Finder.
As for the error message, look at your error code in here: http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Carbon/Reference/File_Manager/Reference/reference.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP30000107-CH5g-RCM0037 Amit On Jun 24, 12:56 pm, aljoscha <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/MacOS/Finder[182]: > > StatusMonitor::volumesChangedCallBack returned -47 > > I am getting exactly this message, when my Firewire LaCie drive all of > a sudden becomes unusable (I cannot unmount it using the finder and it > does not respond by refreshing file lists etc). > > What is this StatusMonitor?
