Compatible doesn't mean bug-free, and I wasn't aware of any such bugs  
before (but I haven't followed the mailing list for very long).

And I'm just an end-user who just wanted to test MacFUSE on a 64bit  
kernel. I am, too, in the dark as to where the development will go in  
the future.

I can't do anything about the instability. I merely provided a package  
that was compiled and briefly tested on 10.6.
