I too have been wondering if this will be implemented by anybody. I'm
curious since Leopard and Snow Leopard already allow only read-only
access to HFS volumes if a FUSE plug-in would just fill in the gaps as
it were to provide write and create access or if FUSE would have to
take over all HFS function from Mac OS X. And how this would integrate
into Disk Utility (for partitioning purposes).
