No, it doesn't 'work'. It's not fully adapted for reentrancy and multi-threaded operation. It will sooner or later crash your computer or corrupt data. If you're using the purely 64-bit kernel in Snow Leopard (which you shouldn't be, as it's currently only supported for usage on Xserve hardware), you have to live without MacFUSE for the moment.

Try to look for the 2.1.7 beta version on google, it was specifically compiled to work on SL 64.
