It's easy to install again if needed. </quote> I don't believe that Chrome is connected with MacFUSE in any way and it is more likely that any number of other applications noted in the other threads has caused MacFUSE to be installed. If you disagree with this, please take the issue up with those vendors if you have any of their software installed. Getting rid of MacFUSE is noted on the FAQ that is linked both above and from the MacFUSE homepage.
