I'll just add to the confusion by throwing in 'fuse4mac' in the
discussion as well, just because of its historic connection with
'fuse4bsd'. ;) (Officially it could be spelled out verbosely as 'FUSE
for Mac OS X' though.)

osxfuse sounds ok to me, but more than that, would endorse the
principal of moving away from macfuse if google really are going
to stick with Amit as the project owner. I don't understand
Google's point here: having a project owner with a competing
project is a clear conflict of interest and seems more like a
political move rather over continuing to support a valuable open
community project.
If there is to be a move of the project to another name it really
needs endorsement from the key players (Erik / Benjamin ...)
otherwise it's a non-starter.
