There is a bug in Lion's CoreFoundation framework. The current NTFS-3G version won't work. MacFUSE sends a notification indicating that the mount has been successful but the fuse_wait program part of NTFS-3G is unable to receive this notification because of this bug. As a result the volume will be unmounted after 15 seconds.
