In fact, AFAIK, the volume will stay mounted, even though the message
appears. I will update NTFS-3G within a week to make it work properly on
Lion.

There is a bug in Lion's CoreFoundation framework. The current NTFS-3G
version won't work. MacFUSE sends a notification indicating that the
mount has been successful but the fuse_wait program part of NTFS-3G is
unable to receive this notification because of this bug. As a result
the volume will be unmounted after 15 seconds.

Hello,
after my OS X Lion Upgrade i have one problem with my system. I

connect my external NTFS HDD anymore. Could you please help?
If i connect the HDD, i get the following error message:
NTFS-3G could not mount /dev/disk2s1 at /Volumes/HDD-Ext because the
following problem occured:
/Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/fusefs.kext failed to load -
(libkern/kext) link error; check the system/kernel logs for

try kextutil(8). the MacFUSE file system is not available (71)
It is a standard issue with MacFUSE. Use patched version from Tuxera
