Hi Everyone, I am looking for any suggestions to solve my problem. I have always had good luck with HP printers and I knew the old Apple Laser was made by HP. So naively I bought an HP Office Jet d135 All-In-One and a 1200 HP Laser printer. Once I hooked them up, I found they couldn?t work together. I went through the routine of downloading new drivers to see if that helped which it didn?t. Finally, HP came up with a workaround, though a little inconvenient, that let them both work on my computer. So later I bought a Photosmart 7350 for printing photos figuring that if I couldn?t use it with my desktop, I could use it with my laptop. However, I would really like to print from it from my desktop.
When I bought Mac OSX Panther, it was suggested that this would solve my problem using the Printer Setup Utility. Well, it didn?t. Is there anything else I could do to make all 3 printers work on my desktop short of buying a $300-400 HP Jet Direct? I have learned one very valuable lesson. Do not buy printers of the same brand if you plan to mix them, or could that be a problem too? ;-) Nora -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
