This should work just fine, I burn all my vacation pictures onto CD and my Mom is able to view them on her PC (she has to use a PC at work and it would be too confusing for her to have a Mac at home unfortunately, which is why I've set her up with a PC).
You might need to make the extension be the three-letter .jpg, I'm not certain if a PC will understand the four-letter .jpeg extension. --- Rex. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:owner-macgroup at erdos.math.louisville.edu] On Behalf Of Anne Cartwright Sent: Monday, February 28, 2005 5:14 PM To: LCS Cc: Anne Cartwright Subject: MacGroup: CDs Another question about CDs. My earlier question was would a CD with a .pdf and .jpeg files burnt on a Mac play on a PC. Any special thing need to be done? What about file names? Does the PC have name restrictions? My new question: Would this CD play on a computer in England? In Canada? Anne, who knows nothing about CDs or PCs.
