None of the palm devices depend in iSync. They all come with their 
regular software and hotsync capabilities. The Zire 71 works just fine 
with hotsyncing, because the iSync was just an afterthought after 
Apple's iSync features. I do hotsync only on one computer, because I 
like the palm hotsync features in addressbook and datebook, and the 
photos are synced , too. And when something in missing in one or the 
other Zire, I just beam it in . This way the iSync does not get mixed 
up. ( I learned the hard way)
