It appears that you can create your own key to do the change. I will try it next week although someone on this list may wish to try it now. Used by the dvd player to set the regioncode the first time. Note that changed the region code after it has been set requires a different right (system.device.dvd.setregion.change) else, I think I know who to ask for the location of the file that keeps the key.
