JERRY THANKS FOR THE REMINDER!!! - My old Apple extended keyboard has a power button. This new keyboard with the G4 has NO power button. In it's place is a "media eject key". However, since you reminded me - just out of curiosity I tried the key combo I used on the old one - Cmd+Control+Power Button (in this case the Media Eject Key). IT WORKED!!! Can you tell I'm happy!! Can you also tell I'm easily frustrated when not able to use those keyboard commands??? :) Why couldn't they have put THAT info in the help files??
BTW - I received a free copy of InDesign with this G4, part of the promotion. Haven't had a chance to get into it yet - but definitely intend to give it a try very soon. Of course, for the time being, Quark will remain as my primary program. Are you using InDesign exclusively? Not sure what type of work you do - but was also wondering if you use or have any thoughts about Macromedia MX? ANYWAY - thanks much for the help!
