I have the same printer. I don't do many color prints, and the "Remaining Ink Level" in the black cartridge goes down faster than in the color cartridge. The Epson Printer Utility shows my black cartridges emptying twice as fast as the color cartridges. Right now the black cartridge shows almost empty while the color cartridge is half full. But I have never seen any variation in the levels of the four colors in the color cartridge. I suppose the four individual primary colors get used about equally in making the thousands of colors in a color print.
