Someone asked me how they can synchronize their black and color cartridges. After they first installed the cartridges, the Epson Printer Utility showed the black cartridge falling faster than the color cartridge. They had to replace it first, and since then the two cartridges have never kept the same time. Another problem is that if they don't print for a long time, Epson Printer Utility shows the same level in the cartridges. They know that with time, the levels should drop, so they don't trust that utility to show the right ink levels.
