Hi, all : the modem Insight uses now and gives out for free when you use
their installation package ( installation also free , but you need to pick
up a few more channels) which might or might not fit your circumstances, is
an RCA modem. So check whether you even need to buy an extra one. I have
been on Insight for a few months now and have not had any trouble at all.
Has been working like a charm . I first encountered a few workers who did
not know what they were doing, but i then hooked up with the supervisor for
this area and had him come to oversee the installation. He cringed a little
bit at first, but came when I told him, either he come or I would take Bell
South. He oversaw the work and even lent a hand for a good job. The
technician for my area here is Jim Willet, his cell phone is 664-2715. If
he is still around, you might want to tell him, how my husband was happy
with his know-how.
