My birthday is next week, and between my fiance and myself, I have
decided to splurge a bit and buy yet another computer related gadget.
That is where you guys (and gals) come in.

I've decided to spend ~$120 and have narrowed my choices down to
about three things, and would like some input as to what you think
would be the best investment, long term.

1. a gig stick of ram for the new Powerbook. that would raise me from
my current 768mb to 1.2GHz (and freeing up a 512mb stick to put in my
fiances iBook, raising her from 512mb to 768).

2. an airport express. we have both been wanting this for a while,
but just never justified spending the money. it would be nice to play
our music in different rooms of the house, and with the iTunes update
that lets you stream to multiple AEs and use your computers speakers,
this became more attractive. (plus, it would be nice if we could
print wirelessly. I know that the Epson R200 has some issues printing
for some people, but it's worth a shot...)

3. another 160GB lacie firewire drive. I currently have a 160GB one
partitioned in half, with 80GB for backing up the Powerbooks HD, and
80gb for storage. With my growing music/movie/pictures collection,
and those large iMovie and iDVD projects, it might be nice to have
the extra space, even if I don't need it now. (as of this writing, I
have ~22GB free on the laptop and ~18GB free on the "storage" volume.

so, any suggestions?
or anything else you would rec. looking into?

rick (loves buying senseless computer stuff.... hey, it's the only
wasteful thing I do...)
