You need all three, nothing in the Macworld is  superfluous. You might 
have to eat porridge for a month, but it'll be worth it,  listening to 
music while swallowing gigantic masses of cream of wheat and drooling 
over your  vast expanses of  added RAM. - And she will gain RAM and 
Music!!  that should help her over the pocketbook pinch.
