I'm seeing one of two scenarios here - One: Glenn is subscribed to the listserv at that email address, and his email account is sending out an autoresponder to anyone who sends an email to the list (and hence to his mailbox), with it programmed to respond to only the first email it receives from a given address (easy to do in Windows Outlook). So, if you post to the list before he gets back, you get an autoresponse. That being the case, I should get one shortly.
Two: Somebody is getting these emails on (most likely) a Windows box, and has a virus problem. In that case, the infected machine is gathering up email addresses as they arrive and spitting spam to Glenn's box with listserv members' addresses spoofed as the sender. I'll let you know if I get one from him just after this posts, in which case it's probably scenario #1. On Apr 4, 2006, at 12:22 PM, mikewatk wrote: > Hey!
