I know a man who may or may not subscribe to our MacGroup list, named Alan Bird. He's a nice man and a friend of mine. I have noticed an Alan Bird on our Mac-list before, and wondered if it was the same fellow I know. I also know Alan does labels and embroidery thing for companies, etc. So I called the web site phone number and asked for Alan Bird. He does NOT work there. However, Glenn is one of their salesmen and he does a lot of business with U of L, especially the Hospital. The woman I spoke with said they don't send out Spam; she apologized. She said Glenn really is on vacation now... she will tell him to check when he returns, and to remove us from his list of "mailees"... that it was a mistake. U of L is a big customer of his. She was very nice... and I believe she was being truthful. (She didn't tell me whether Jill is cute or not.) By the way, I did NOT give the woman our E-mail address.
