Jerry, The main change I have noticed on a G5 tower with this update, the fans are running so much more now, even when the machines is idle, they will just take off and blow like a small hurricane and finally calm down, to only take off again in just a short while. If I am using the machine they run much of the time, often getting very loud.
I also had problem with it coming off screen saver, once even having to do a manual shutdown by holding the button. I repaired permissions after I finally got it restarted, and so far that hasn't happened again. John R.
