'lo all. I'm new to the area and just found this list. Regarding spam: I have two primary addresses that I use, both gmail accounts. This one i use for most everything, including email lists, most webpages, online accounts; and another personal email that i only give out to select people, and never use for any sort of registration.
My spam is *very* minimal, and non existent on my personal addy. gMail seems to have fairly decent filters, and combined with the "junk" feature on mail.app i'm pretty happy. Also, whenever possible i use http://bugmenot.com to bypass registration to websites, lessening my total chances of spam. BugMeNot is really handy. My fiance on the other hand? her windows PC and her old school email are besieged with spam. hopefully after macworld we'll get another portable so she can ditch the old gateway. rick On Dec 27, 2005, at 10:29 AM, Marta Edie wrote: > Bringing up Spam, do you people get a lot of it?
