I think I get it. It says Push works like text messages. I still
think I would prefer the old fashioned way of launching an app and
going to get it vs having it bug me every time an email came through.
Thats just me though, you may feel differently. It would never go
back in my pocket if that were the case.
Also is there a monthly limit on the emails? I am thinking about
the spam issue. Say your email suddenly gets bombarded with junk and
there goes your monthly fee to spammer junk.

Brian,

I know nothing of this either, but the Verizon salesperson said to
get it SENT to me I would need the push technology, I could go get it
without paying anything, but I would have to go through the normal
steps of logging onto my mail account, typing the password, then
looking at the mail. With PUSH all that is gone, it just is sent to
me, but I would need this company "hotpop" to do the sending. Is
this true?

I may have been snookered and I don't need the extra monthly fee for
the push feature, possibly there is another way????

Thanks also Angie, I will check into this, but do you not have to "go
get the mail" rather than have it sent to you?

Sorry to ask so many questions, this is all new to me and I have 30
days to change the contract with Verizon if I purchased something I
don't need.

Thanks all, keep the suggestions coming.
