Ben,

I installed Panther on an identical computer that I was giving to a 
friend.  It worked perfectly, but I did erase the hard drive and I also 
increased the memory for with the 384 meg of ram it didn't do well, but 
with 512 it surprised me and has been going for several months with no 
problems.
