Hi John, I have been using a Canon N1240U "thin" scanner for some time now and I love it. I am using it with Photoshop 7.0.1 running either OS 9.2.2 and X.2. Before updating to X.2 it also ran fine on X.1.5. The PS plug-in version I'm using is Scan Gear CS 6.5.0 X for OS X. They are not the fastest scanners in the world but their size (and hence portability) make up for it. Not bad for a hundred dollar scanner. Hope this helps.
