Bernie- The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Without any warning, one day I opened iPhoto to find it blank- no photos, no albums, nothing there. I was lucky to have had a good backup, so I did not loose anything valuable. I hope you did too. I mentioned this problem on macgroup email at the time, but no one responded, so I suppose it has only happened to you and I. I'm running a Dual 2GHz power G5, Version 10.3.9, with 1.5 GB DOR SDRAM.
