I have an Imagewriter LQ - nearly as good output as my various inkjet types, for text, and very, very cheap to operate. Also, the graphics output is good enough so that I can blow up line based drawings by 200% and have a usable result for review, although not as a final plot. Of course, I could use a sound-dampening room for it ... and that's why although I have it, I rarely use it.
