I have an Imagewriter LQ - nearly as good output as my various inkjet types,
for text, and very, very cheap to operate.  Also, the graphics output is
good enough so that I can blow up line based drawings by 200% and have a
usable result for review, although not as a final plot.  Of course, I could
use a sound-dampening room for it ... and that's why although I have it, I
rarely use it.
