Sorry to hear that. I find that the $250 invested in a 40 GB hard drive which backs up all other drives every night has paid for itself many times over. I have a friend, who said (knowing that I was a certified Macintosh technician), why do you do that, you can probably fix any corruption and recover files. I told him my credo, "It is far better to have a current backup than to be cleaver" The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will be September 25.
