Sometimes a gap of "none" between songs can cause some older players  
to think the CD is just one very long song and thus may not play.  
Rare, but it happens.
In iTunes Prefs (Burning) make sure you have chosen to make an Audio  
CD and try a 1 second gap between songs.

What is the format you are using to import the songs initially?
