Hey folks,

Has anyone else installed Tiger and had problems with Mail?

One of my IMAP accounts (the groupwise account I have through UofL)
cannot sync with the server properly. It will sync for a while, and
then just sit and sit and sit. It doesn't prevent mail from getting
header info or prevent me from writing emails, but it does keep the
emails I get from being cached properly for quick and easy viewing.

Any tips would appreciated. I've tried:
. removing bundles from Application Support for Mail
. removing all services
. trying to rebuild the mailboxes (which seems to be a bad mistake,
because it chucks what little has been cached).
. deleted the account (backing up first, of course) and re-creating
it again (another mistake, because it is now sitting and taking
forever to try and cache the email).

I never had this trouble with Mail earlier, even with the rather
beset upgrade which came with Mac OS 10.3.9.

Clues would be appreciated.

Bill
P.S. The Apple discussion lists are overrun with folks having
problems with Mail. Pretty disappointing for such an old technology.
