Sorry, no help to offer Bill ... but I'm reminded that sometimes it's
best to be the last guy to test the bridge. I used to be the first one
across but got tired of getting wet.

I, only recently, upgraded from Outlook Express to Mail 1.2.5. It was
to my delight and some surprise that transferring my considerable
accumulation of mailboxes and mail to Mail was easier than making the
transfer between versions of OE had been. I shouldn't have been
surprised, perhaps, since it was two version of a M$ program ... double
your troubles.

But it's very disappointing to hear that the newest version of Mail is
problematic. I've heard a number of rumbles, including some from
people who don't like the changes that were made as part of OS10.3.9
upgrade. Haven't tried that one yet.

So, my only relevant question: I is possible to use the older version
of Mail with the newer versions of the system?
