I don't know, but my gut feeling is "probably not", simply because of Spotlight. Well, not literally because of spotlight, since all that should happen is that mail messages would not be indexed w/in Spotlight, but because Apple is pushing spotlight so much. This question has been asked but not answered in the discussion groups. So... I guess in the end, I've given just about zero information!
