George,

I run 10.2.8 on one machine and 10.3.9 on another.  10.3.9 is 
noticeably better, imo.  I especially like the archive function, built 
into (or accessible through) the Finder and that Safari is a bit 
evolved from the version that comes with 10.2.8.  Also, Preview is a 
much more useful application in 10.3.9 - faster and more featured, and 
the Expos? feature is turning out to be handier than I expected.  It's 
actually worth learning about F9, F10 and F11 because of the ease it 
adds to window management.  I have not migrated my Mail to that version 
of Mail, but if someone says it's substantially better, I'll shift.
