Bill,

I also downloaded the new versions of Quicktime and iTunes. No problem
with Quicktime. Same result you had with iTunes. I do have an Applecare
3-yr. service policy in force, so I called a tech rep. It didn't work
any better with him "walking" me through the process. He recommended
that I wait a short while and then do the download on System
Preference's Software Update. That was on April 28th, the day that
Jerry gave us the news. He said it had only been in existence for about
12 hours and would possibly be on the auto update by the next day. It
still, at this writing, is not. There may be a glitch somewhere. I use
a flat-screen iMac with OSX version 10.2.5. I have no answer, in other
words, but am confirming that you're not the only one with this
problem. Ward? Jerry? Anybody?

Mike
