You're still able to boot from 9.2.2 on the hard drive, correct? When you ran Disk First Aid, did you run it from the hard drive? If so, try booting from the 9.2.2 installer CD and run Disk First Aid from there. If that doesn't work, you might want to invest in a disk repair program like Norton Utilities or Disk Warrior. In fact, you might want to invest in one anyway.
