The rumor sites are harmonically converging toward agreement that Apple 
is going to release new iBooks and Powerbooks on November 6, 2002. Both 
models will be faster, with iBooks getting a price drop.

Susan, don't go over to the dark-side... the landscape is littered with 
broken laptop cases left there by owners that thought they would work 
and look like the desktops and the winds bear tales of the woes of 
trying to upgrade these accursed beasts. Reports are coming in from all 
over of a strange crippling malady --- people are creaking over to one 
side from hours of trying to carry the heavy things in cases.
Ahh, the inhumanity of it all...
