My experience with VPC under OS X has not been happy. It runs like a 
glacier, and is not likely to get a whole lot faster. It is quite 
usable under OS 9, and browsers run acceptably quickly. This is 
apparently because of the differences between how OS X and OS 9 let 
programs share the machine.
