I'm not a fan of Insight.  However, I do have all their services.  When I
added up things "separately", I was paying MORE for them.  Not much more...
but more.

Insight is beginning their big push for  their "HUGE" internet service for a
whopping $79 a month.  Hence, a lot of us on cable aren't getting the better
service that we became accustomed  to.  More folks are on cable and not many
(yet) are switching to the "new" internet so we are all seeing a "slow
down".

They are upgrading their servers... but my guess is they are upgrading for
the "new" internet.

I do get better and more services with their phone service for a lesser
price.  And I still have an old time corded desk phone for back up. LOL
Anything plugged into the electricity is wiped out as someone else said
unless you have that.  So I have always kept my old desktop touchtone
phone.

I was trying to hold out for DSL.... because that is the way I wanted to
go.  You really can't tell a difference between the cable here and the DSL.
The next city  over has it.... and I've used it at their house.  It's just
not available here.  So... I finally caved and got the package deal.

I've only had problems the last few days..... I do hope it clears up and
soon.... if it doesn't... then I'll stay until DSL gets in this area. LOL

I am one of the few people who don't have a cell phone. :-)  I used to.....
but no more. LOL  Don't have the need like I did.... so it went.
