It sounds as if all they support is webmail which would not surprise me as most students use webmail. My daughter never set up her mail.app on her iBook she just uses gmail. Most kids think that is the way you read email. Most do not even know about newsgroups which I use quite a bit. I am on Adobe's forums all day long using my newsreader.
