Mark, Welcome to Mac world. You'll find it's a pretty nice place, but be careful not to confuse it with MAC world, which is where those pesky little Media Access Control numbers hang out. Well, most of 'em. Some of them work at department store cosmetic counters. Those folks are all acronyms and load voices. We're partial to abbreviations and lower voices (and cases).
